Phantasy Star Universe is in many ways totally different to Phantasy Star Online, so much infact that Sonic Team decided NOT to call it PS Online, and instead make a whole new series so to speak which continues the drive of the old Phantasy Star games from the SEGA MegaDrive days!

I was hoping for just that, an actual sequel, PSO was great, but had nothing to do with PS. I wonder if they will have the Mag system in PSU, amongst other things such as rare enemies/bosses, modes that alternate area design.

good point this game could be completely different to the other pso games and a real let down or it cud (or i will hit something)be absolutly amazing

From what ive seen so far, PSU doesnt look to include MAGs i'm afraid... however thats not to say they would not be put into the final version, doubtful though.

Argh, I hope they atleast have a rare item system, because all I see the pathethic human turn into the Altered Beast and use a crappy Saber/Double Saber. PS did not have a rare item system.

Hehe, i should have thought there would be more weapons then sabers and double sabers to use throughout the game, however it isnt something which has been said by anyone yet... so at this moment in time, its anyones guess. If Phantasy Star didnt have it... hmmm... you might want to hold your breathe.

Lol! Chao's would be pretty cool to see, no doubt theyll make an appearance somewhere aswell as Sonic in the Sonic Team game, afterall, Sonic is actually in every Sonic Team made game i think :O
Also, no i dont have a PS2! Ill be playing it on the PC.
