I figure I'll make a post that means something...
Legits - People who play the game with no use of hacked, duped or stacked items. Some dupe so they can have back ups of rare items incase of FSOD.
AR users - Players who use Action Replay. A cheating device that edits the hex memory of the game file allowing users to gain access to many things legit players cannot get. These things include fast leveling, rare items, becoming an NPC like Sonic, swearing, and even FSOD. Some players admit they use AR and got codes from the internet, other people, FSOD noobs think they are real hackers. That's only true if they made the codes themselves.
Hackers - They can be catagorized in the same way that computer hackers can. Black hat, white hat, and grey hat. First, hackers don't use Action Replay, but rather they packet edit and stream edit. This allows them to send commands from client to server which can affect the game in ways that an Action Replay cannot
Black Hat - Hacker who stream or packet edits to do harm to other players. (Lobby Reload, PK, NOL, BSOD etc.)
White Hat - Hacker who uses their programs to help other players or fight the black hat hackers.
Grey Hat - Hacker who does both. They can harm or help players depending on how they feel. Some Grey hats go on to become Black Hats because it's just easier to harm than help.

so you were a grey hat? oh and you forgot glitchers or what ever you want to call them who stack and dupe items with in game glitches

glitchers don't really count for much. They can't make a difference in the game that's noticable. Besides some legits dupe items. AR people sometimes stack. Yes, I was a grey hat for a while, then went black.

yeah, but your so very right. fixing crap is so much harder then breaking it. whit hats should look out for nuber one but what would you call a person who basicly jews everyone else and keeps them from ass rapeing him.

Black hats only look out for themselves, and their close friends. As for the rest of your post, I'm sorta confused by it. Try spelling correctly and uh, making analogies that don't go against eachother

you answerd my question... as for the spelling im rather tired. oh and what i ment was person who only plays white hat for himself. im a total noob at this crap.

White hats mostly watch out for the people who can harm them. There were no white hats who wanted to help everyone. Black hats, like myself, my interests were for myself and my close friends. Anyone who messed with them messed with me

truth being yea i know how to hack and stuff but hey man u cant tell people to hack or not u may hate it but hey i enjoy learning things
i hacked the school comp once just cuz they pissed me off ! man u cant control others no matter what. i dont hack others from any game unless they are idiots asking for it i only hacked 1 person over my many years playing games that person said exactly this " cmon u hackers if u can hack me do it cmon u little A**holes prove u got the guts" so i hacked em by takin all his stuff then gave it to some new player , but really its up to the people its fun to do certain things pso i dont hack i hacked on diabloII thats when that kid said it but seriously just sayin stuff wont do anything bout it, i havnt hacked for long time now and probably wont agn cuz im bored of it. being legit so far is fun and i enjoy the work to get rares and stuff on pso just depends on the person this thread is really pointless no offense
EDIT:and i agree with legato i really only care for those i know, if i dont konw em and they do sometin to 1 i get them back hard as hard as possible same goes in real life u mess wit my buds u get me and more (its the azn life bro

Well, surprisingly enough, this is one of few threads regarding this topic that haven't turned into an all-out flamefest. But, this is a repeat of many "Hackers are poopy" threads and the like, so I must close it.
If there is some particular, reasonable, not in support of hacking thread someone would like me to create and sticky (possibly not unlike this one), let me know; otherwise, just go about your foruming. Thanks all.
