im shaving at 14 every week or so (the hairs there after 2 days, but i dont shave it then for 2 reasons: cant b assed (the best one!) and you cant see it from more than 1 metre away...) . there are some people at school in my year that could grow proper beards, but their really old, and im one of the youngest in the year which sucks...
also, hair DOES grow back thicker+stronger after shaving, but there arent more of them... i would bore you with a long biological explanation but i cant b assed....
i agree, it does suck you loose the soft hairs that no-one can see after the first shave... if id known that, i would have waited longer before i started!
Well, I have to shave :/ , mainly because I am brown.. I am sure the majority of this site is white, and I have taken note white people really don't need to shave until 18, many even later (which is funny). Why can't I be white :(

It can be very frustrating having to shave so often. I just use Gillete Mach 3 razors (the original ones, not the ridiculous vibrating ones). You get used to it after a while, the funny thing is I'm the only one in my family who can grow sideburns . I have them grown out even now.
I think shaving isnt all that bad, I shave practicly every day to keep my tash, burns and brow under controll but im leaving my beard to grow . Im only 14 aswell! I use Gillete Mach 3 with the Gillete shaving foam and I have no problems what so ever, just be carefull not to cut yourself because it stings like hell!
I just realized last night, that my sideburns have grown alot.... and I shaved them like 3 days ago. Darn.... I suppose that means I'll have to start doing it regularly now..... I don't want to do it for the same reason that jarl doesn't: "cant b assed", but now I suppose I'll have too....
