S#$%! This Time I Did Find A Hacker!!

Ok, Im not trying to do what some of you think snowfox was doing, but I really did find a hacker. Heres the story;

I made a new character, and decided to enter a game in cronus called "lvl 1-18". I entered when suddenly, there was somebody named " " and he was level 666. So I left instantly. Then I realized that I should've taken a screenshot. So I went back in and screenshoted it. Then I left, and went back in to get his ID number, but decided that I didn't wanna get hacked. I waited, I checked the room, and the guy was gone. But there were four people trying to get a glitch by throwing "gogo balls into a warp". So I just left. I went back to the lobby and he was there, only at level 5. Heres the pic. He is a HUmar.

I couldn't. He wasn't in veiw. And I was afraid that if I stayed any longer I'd get hacked and lose my characters and screenshots, then have no proff at all.

You would still have the pics if he hacked you (which the hacker wouldn't, never happened yet), everyone reports hackers, there hasn't been any corruption yet, cool if you would be the first..

As it was a new character Todd, I would have Screenshot it. If you want to help the BB community, as Clumsyorchid himself expained to me in a PM we HAVE TO USE THE SUPPORT FORMS. Dont decide not to take action because "OMG I'm risking my n00b characters neck". Beacause of this that hacker may still be at large. I have reported two hakers so far, given times, links to screenshots and everything the forms ask for and havent seen the hackers since, thats great. But if others are too scared to act we will end up back at GC. So heres a message for everyone, sometimes we have to risk a bit to save a lot of trouble.

I have risked my 100+ 3 times now, and nothing bad has coem of it.

But if you get hacked, doesn't it effect all of your characters? Not just that one? And I thought that Id also lose the screenshots and have no proff at all...Damn it....

Agreed, Todd, I know you are very insecure about hacking/corruption/FSOD, but Clumsyorchid is very serious about getting people banned, he loves banning people. Listen to Anti-Hacker, dude is knowledgable :)

Alright, next time I'll go all out to find out whom it is. I will try to find him now.

No Tood, wrong! If data is incorrectly modified (like you get NOLed) due to a previous save on BB (it saves as you play, or every few minutes) it will revert to the nearest correct save. So you dont have to fear hackers, unless you found something really rare in the last 2 minutes! And how likely is that at level 11, or ever? Again I will post this by Clumsyorchid to me in a PM:

Just wanted to give a brief reply to your mailing. The Abuse forms are very useful to us, we can pull a lot of information form them. We investigate each claim and work to take proper action. Users have been banned based on reports given to us, but the real goal is to stop the programs causing the problems. Work is done on a regular basis to identify and stop these people and programs.

Websites, such as the one you listed, have been submitted by a large number of people. We are already working to stop the cheats being distributed and the sites that host them.

GMs patrol the lobby in plain clothes as well as the GM robes. Plain clothes, as you would expect, is far more effective in catching players online than the more noticeable GM outfits. There is an effort to step up patrols within lobbies using GM outfits, so you'll likely see us online more Smile.

As for BB, the community response has been incredibly helpful. If users continue to submit forms and send in information about users and/or cheats we can work to stoping the problems on the servers. The real message I want to relay is that we are working hard on the problems daily. You might not see everything that goes on here, but we are always checking and fixing problems on the backend and in the game.
