Having it since released in December last year, today i finally finished the game, YAHOO! With a little help from GameFAQs.com to get past this one area ive been stuck on since like february or somewhere, i made it right through to the end!

The end, rather strange twists, but killa cutscenes like everyone else has said - Defo the best RPG ive ever played ^_^

Well, Lee...congratulations on your...uh...discovery? or rather your accomplishment.
Is this the game where in the cut scenes they barely ever move...that annoyed me when I played

They barely ever moved? I thought the cutscenes were amazing, especially the proper 'anime-esque' movie bits, they were superb! They should make this game into a full blown anime-move!!

Apparently there are only 2 anime cutscenes in the whole thing, and I never saw either of them. I loved the intro though.
My friend had this game called Orphen (sp?), which I've since been informed is an anime, and every cutscene in it is anime, and they all look real cool. It would have been good like that, but then I guess it would have left less space for the important bit - the game.

Ive heard of that game, PS2 right? Looks like that kinda anime genre, and besides, the game needs to have a cool plot and gameplay system to work, not just anime, unless it was released on DVD so that, like i said, it could become an Uber Anime! ^_^

Then it wouldn't be a game! :O
Anyway, yeah, it's on PS2, but I've never actually played it.

Well.... Having completed it myself, and having been read the RPG cliche list, my opinion of this game has dropped down a notch. This game has every possble cliche an RPG couold have.
SPOILER ALERT.
SPOILER ALERT
Kratos being Lloyd's dad, two worlds, the fact that the good guy and his dad are THE FIRST TWO characters weilding swords in the game, the fact that you don't get to return to Iselia until VERY late in the game... And many more. Not saying the game isn't a masterpiece- It is. The battle system is one I play for hours all the time, and it was good enough to make me play the game again with all the extras they throw in. But the storyline could use some real work.

OMG, you just spoiled it for me... Thats what i'd say if i hadnt completed it yet which i have!
But yea i agree the story does get a bit silly at the end of the game, at the beginning its a masterpiece in its own right! The game itself does offer too much though for what it is i think, its just too great a game! XD
