I had FSOD last nite, dam American servers....but it was very wierd...very wierd indeed!
It happened when i joined a game...or was loading the new game i was joining!
The loading screen disappeared, and the screen just went black! I was still online and my gamecube was still going, but nothing was happening at all, for ages! So i whipped out my memory card, and just turned off my GC. When i turned it back on with my mem card back in, and went online again, all my items were still there, even though according to the game (when u select ure character) it said that all uneqquipped items have been lost, very wierd indeed! Anyone else experienced anything similar to this b4?

I had this on my first go online. All my weapons were still intact as well as the items and thought nothing of it. Second time it happened I lost all my items including a mag I was developing.
Annoying as hell!!! I find FSOD always happens to me when I just start up but afterwards when I re-connect it is smooth all the way. In fact I have had FSOD everytime I start a new game for the first time so I think it has something to do with the amount of stuff you carry. Whenever I reset after FSOD without any items (other than those equipped) it plays fine.

I haven't been FSODed yet I have had on other weird thing happen to me though

Can I ask a question: If you get FSOD-X'd, do you have to pay for another month's worth of HL?

FSOD X only corrupts your character your HL isn't stored on your GC. so no

oh OK then. Still annoying though...
How easy is it to get corrupted if you've never been online?

I've never been corrupted properly before but I would say it is extremely rare to get corrupted. Itâs just the luck of the draw, if youâre in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Everytime I've been online I've had FSOD and lost items, money and even the occasional rare weapon I forgot to bank or equip but I've never had corruption yet and hope that it never happens.(Dont jinx it now
)

Hmm... FSOD evry time? But no corruption? Seems like quite a good deal- just put everything in the bank and you're safe forever!

every time I go online I find someone who has a chao mag. I still haven't been FSOD FSOD X or coruppted.
