Looking the same makes you a sheep, I make music about how people feel, so they can relate to me that way, I use radical approaches in my music to do stuff that hardly anyone else has done, but at the same time, something that everyone can understand, as they can interprete it how they want, and feel a connection to me, hence why I have my own line of fashion wear made and also sold, (that and music is the oldest language by definition anyhow, and you can understand music, no matter who you are).
If you have a capo I recomend dropping to the key of d
D
G
C
F
A
D
Plus You can tune down as far as C and still get a good sound. Depending on how good your tuners are it could take a while. If you have a capo you'll never have to worry about tuning higher again and you can always keep it dropped in that key.

Anyone caught smoking at Layer Road will be buried in the
centre circle by the forking groundsman, with only their head
showing, and left there during the second half.
Previous threats of electrocution, being made to listen to Will
Young and being hung from the floodlights have
failed to discourage all the smokers.
If Cardiff players had to stand and pay respects to an English national anthem, would they? I don't think so.
But Arsenal players manage to do it.

Cheers for the tuning ideas!
I dont have a capo, but I'm going to purchase one as soon as I get better on my guitar, and get my band fully operational.
Cool. I don't have the money to get a new instrument for a while, even though I'm getting a little peeved at my active pickups. I like the sustain, but I never actually play a note that lasts for more than two beats, so I'm losing sight of the point of it. That aside, I just like the sound of passives better.
Good thing, though.
I found my mom's vintage Yamaha in the basement and started playing that again. Nice sound. I hope it'll stay in good condition, even if I start using it more often... If not, I'll have to put it away and go looking for a new acoustic.
Which leads me to an interesting thought.
It seems I've been leaning more towards blues as far as my guitar playing goes, while my bass has gone from heavy metal to old school guitar rock... Odd.
I guess it just reflects the fact that our personal styles are ever-changing.
Huh.
Okay, I'm done.
