Question about splitting Slimes.....

When you split a blue slime, does its copy have the ability to drop a rare as well? So If I walked into a room with 1 slime and split it into 4, would all 4 of them have the ability to drop a rare? Also, I read somewhere that in Lionels Letter there's a room in cave 2 that if you pipe through the rocks using the piping through doors trick and split all the slimes, you could pipe with 32 slimes. Is this true? And if it is, can you pipe through the rocks in plus?

as i understand it, what he is describing by the 32 slimes is an exceptionally dodgy and unlegit was of getting lots of slimes. i have no idea what piping through the rocks is, and dont care. if you do that though, you are unlegit.

I'm not sure about that... after all, you could just as easily make the argument that all piping is illegit... but that's a huge gray area. So you're saying it's legit to pipe 9 lilies, but not 8 slimes? Why would they put them in a room then? Seems like a waste of system memory to me, if they are never seen.

What I would do with that room, then, is pipe just the 8. 32 slimes is WAY too many for them not to accidentally kill each other. It's hard enough with just the 8 in Addicting Food.

I have also never heard of the piping through rocks trick. Does anyone know? I'd love to be able to pipe 8 slimes and do my homework at the same time like I can do with other rare enemies.

In Letter from Lionel there is a spot in caves 2 with a big rock wall blocking the way. If you use the piping through doors trick you can get through it into a "H" shaped section made up off 6 rooms, with a total of 8 slimes. If you split all of them that gives you 32. I've never been to this section of caves 2 for slimes and I don't plan on using it in the future, I was simply using it for a example. I am 100% legit and have never used any methods of cheating in PSO ever.

I just dunno if you would call it cheating. Like I said, I personally would just pipe all 8 slimes at once without splitting them... that way I could do homework and such like I can do while piping other enemies. That's why I'd like to know how to get through the rock...

well if thats not a cheat, then would you call duping a cheat? i know this is a massive gray area, but your using abusing a glitch, like when you dupe (if you know how, youll know what im talking about) its true that you can, if you want, pipe 8 slimes, but thats like saying 'well i have 1 god/power, so if i were to swap that round my characters i could give all 3 god/powers but instead of doing that im going to dupe it twice so i dont have to swap' its unlegit, but if you want to do that fine.
