Ruby bullet or Red handgun?

ok, heres what i have:

ruby bullet 0,0,20,20
red handgun 0,0,40,0.


They are for my RAcast who will be working primarily in mine, hunting a yasminkov. Here's the catch- they both do exactly the same amount of damage. is it worth frinding the RH? 50 grinders isnt a small amount.... i will stay in mine for a VERY long time, but eventually i will move on to ruins, and as soon as i do i will have no use for it, so what should i do?

grind the red handgun, find the yasminkov and ditch both handguns Big Grin

do you think its worth grinding the handgun just until i get the yas though? 1/1000 drop off a gilchic is pretty easy, so im not totally sure its worth it.

got a point, if the handguns are doing well as they are, leave em ungrinded.

EDIT: the ruby bullet will be usefull in the ruins still, it has dark %s and i believe the ruby bullet can pierce delsabers' guard.

grind them all xD. just do quests and stuff. do runs in caves, mines and ruins ull get grinders for sure. Usually get bout 2 monos, 1 di and 1 tri per DSP run.

Grind the red gun and then keep it for a HU... Ruby Bullet is just plain cooler on RAs (particularly RAmarl Tongue).

thats being kept for ruins, then!

i have plenty of grinders, i just dont want to waste them. true, extra damage would be nice (doing 190 ish with charged, 100 without) but i dont need it, and the yasminkov wants a +60 grind, so i dont really want to waste it. while its true the RH would be handy for upcoming chars, i also have a 35,25,0,0 which will be useful for them as well (if i dont trade). its not a case of needing grinders, its a case of not wanting to waste them just incase i come accross an uber weapon i didnt think i was going to get and need loads of grinders to max it.

edit: i only have the one HU, a HUcsaeal and she has a drainrailgun w/ 50% hit, that gets 120 hp a steal, which i ownt change for the RH because of the special, so im not sure what to do.

Go with the Ruby Bullet. You do not need to bother with grinders then, and if you don't need a Handgun for you Hunter, the Ruby Bullet will do better in the long run. The lack of %'s don't really matter for Native and Beast, since they're easy enough to kill anyway.

Well if you must use the drain gun, use both... the drain gun for special, the RH for power. By lv50 I would be equipping a non-common gun on a HUcaseal if possible... even if it's only a Varista. If you need HP steal, I'd say get yourself a gush vulcan with hit% (this is the only nonrare weapon you'll ever see me using, and only on my HUcast and HUcaseal)... or better yet, hunt her a nice chainsawd. Wink

i have plenty of varista's, but lets face it, they suck.
i have a drain railgun with 50% hit. thats quite good...

see what i mean? i dont like close combat HP stealing much, either. i find you tend to steal some hp then loose everything you've just stolen+ a bit more when you get hit half a second later, but thats probably because of bad ATA on my part... should be ok soon, god/arm piping session should be happening when ican be bothered (after this FoS run for god/battle) also, the RH would be useful for her, it has to be said because of the native %.
