Cost of the new game systems.

What is your opinion on how much the new game systems are starting to cost.Are you consernd or do you not give a crap.

Obviously they are quite expensive, although i expected the 360 to cost a bit more than it does. Anyway in my experience, you get what you pay for

I always seem to get them anyway though

i don't know about sony ps3 but microsoft is losing money with the xbox360, it should cost more, then comes the nrevolution, either nintendo will lose lot's of money or the console is a crap, you decide.

The X360 would be good value atm if, firstly they(ms) had enough systems out for sale and secondly some of the machines weren't faulty. Next then comes the Ps3. Hmmm......i think that this could be shit or bust for them here. The cost initially may put some people off, but give it a few months and the Playstation brand name will carry it through to worldwide success, we all know this. Then Nintendo with their new offering. From what has been said/rumoured this console is likely to be the cheapest at around $200-$250 maybe so when speaking of affordability they win.

Depends on what people are willing to spend at first. Even a decent Nintendo set-up at launch will be close to $400 with software and extra controller but i suppose this does look cheap when compared to the $800 that a decent Ps3 set-up is likely to be, but sony have a good following with their PS brand as i already hinted so make your choices. Adding also that whatever the launch price of Ps3, it will still be a cheap Blu-ray player and a game console.

The difference here this time is that one of the big 3 is now offering you an alternative gameplay choice for your money.

but nravolution is the worse in these new generation consoles, yes it's cheapest, but xbox360 will also lower price, same for the ps3.
and one thing nintendo never do is beting in quality.

Well i will always buy a new nintendo console, because in my experience nintendo always release the best games. But i will be getting ps3 aswell lol good thing i have a nice well paid job ^_^

As for a lot of 360's being faulty, you will find that with pretty much all new consoles when they are released.

best games, you got to be kiding, 1 or 2 good games, but when the game is like super smash, or super mario, if nintendo stop and think for a moment to what are they doing, then nintendo could improve something (ya right)

Well graphics wise the ps3 is supposedly going to beat the crap out of the 360,But in my opinion the thing that is going to drag the ps3 down ,is the price.And the fact that it hasen't even come out yet.

Revolution here all ze way. I'm not going to spend my money on a system that can play music or movies as well. because the cd lens, can only do so much, and when it has to switch back and forth from movie, music, game format's that can kill the lens and ur system will have a shorter life span.

I buy a system to play games. thats what there ment for. xbox and sony, would be a hell of alot faster and cleaner running if they took the movie and music playing format out.

my guess for the revolution would be around $300 canadian. maybe less, seeing that they kno how to play the market.
