Orphen, you live out in Cali, ever go to one of the NASKA tournaments out there?

The first RSKC of the year was last weekend.....I came out on top again. That makes me number 1 in the rankings....If I can keep up 1st-2nd all year long, I'll be 1st at the end of the year. Hopefully I'll get noticed by either Team KIKS, Olympia, Swat, USA, or one of the smaller ones. If I do, and travel the circuit, wanna' spar? Wink

Kiwi, I live in NY City. And Jimbo- Maube you should run up the stairs more at school xD Or do about 50 push-ups. You should be fine then.

Well, if I end up meeting you Kiwi, I would spar with you. Don't expect me to go easy on you, though. But hey, we would be wearing protective gear, so I don't think I would need to. Honestly, tournament-wise, I wouldn't like to really partake. I fight for one reason really, and that's not one of them. I really don't need to prove anything to anyone by showing them I'm a good fighter. I fight to protect people that require it, and to break down any obstacles in my way. Although if it makes me feel so good, I really don't know how it can be so bad. Tongue

Well it's not really to show off, it's really quite good practice, of course there's a difference between tournament fighting and actual fighting, if you realize that you could be fine. I think you seem like the person who'd take a hit to give one, so I couldn't say if you'd be good tournament style or not.

Speaking of wepons, however, I got mine taken away, I kinda' cracked my brother over the head with my graphite bo when he punched me in the nuts, REALLY hard. And it cut his head open, and it gave everyone a scare because there was a lot of blood, and of course ALL head wounds have a lot of blood, so yeah..... <<; hopefully it doesn't make me sound crazy, but that hurt so bad I couldn't think straight, and I just happened to have the bo in my hand.

On a side note, I'm getting 00b3rly better in fighting, I'm learning to 'unleash that dragon'....*Pablo Francisco joke* But we're taught restraint on our power due to sparing young children, but against the black belts I can start to distinguish that I don't need to stop when I hit....I round house kicked one of our black belts, Dale Miller, whom has twenty years experience, and is like 3rd RSKC ranked in his division....So yeah, that was a full force round house to the head. Chuck Norris would've cried....

Orphen, should this thread just be renamed 'martial arts'? XD

does wrestling count as a work out? coz i'm a bit weedy i'm a high-flyer (if you are completely stuipid*not you orphen or Teh ekwee* i do jumps from 20ft ladders) through people *sometimes objects* so i kinda forget to feel pain as i have too much fun plus ifts really good in case of an emergency as you don't have a fear of heights which is handy (i wanna be like the hardy boys from the wwe)Tongue

Nah. Martial arts are still a weapon.

I guess I wouldn't really be able to get used to tournament fighting, as yes, I would be one to take a hit, regardless of the strength, to give one of equal strength, granted I have a very high constitution. Most of my situations to "practice" have been very real and were not so formal as tournament fighting, so I learned how to fight people in very real situations that I feel to have been probably the best training. Not all people much have that luxury, though.

Well, I still have my weapons because I didn't try to slaughter my brother. XD

Jimbo, that sounds like fun, and that's how I am, I hardly feel pain, honestly. I broke my ankle a long while back and kept walking on it anyway because I didn't realize. Tongue I can jump really high, but 20 ft? What the hell?

no the ladders a re 20ft i jump from them onto people usually i knock them, over and bang my head on something or other and just lie there for ages unitl its happens all over again

the best bits are when you put someone on a table then jump from a normal ladder onto them thus breaking them AND your self through a table painful yet slightly fun at the same time
