Anyone for Nintendo DS Lite?

I've got my original gameboy advance. too cool for teh small one hahahha. but for real. i think a black DS would be cooler. the blue looks nice too. Now then.... a hot pink one that was glossy and not the sparkle paint they use.... THAT i could go for. HOT PINK though. only way. haha

thats the point- ipod blacks are outselling the whites by like10:1 (not really)

I hate it. I hate small consoles. I get worried that, because all the thingumies and doodads inside it are so jam packed into that small space, it will overheat due to lack of air space.

I second that. First the tiny PS2, which had a problem with overheating, and now the DS, which is going to start blowing up in children's hands.

i can see where your getting at but i really doubt itll be a problem- hardly any heat is produced in the DS as theres no laser to read the chip, which is what made the heat in the PS2, etc.

personally they should have just released a small one in the first place. why wait to do that? yes.. smart marketing. but nintendo can be such hypocrits.. wanting to offer us the best they have to offer and you know they had these plans while they had plans for the big one.

they released the big one because they didnt have the technology to make the small one- lets put this in context. basically, you're saying that the PS3 should have been released when the PS1 was, but they decided to 'smart market' and release them slowly. ok, thats a bit extreme but its basically what your saying. ipod nano should have been released when the original ipod was still brand new? motorola rzar should have been released when the nokia 3310 was the best phone out? right......

With technological advancement comes the wiser eye for innovation. I agree with Jarl, you need to take a more realistic outlook on the situation.

And my point is, that even if I felt inclination to purchase it, I wouldn't need to granted I have a DS currently.
