Hm...Well, I guess if you lived maybe about 10 miles closer to the city, then you would be able to go to chinatown and buy anime boxsets for around 40 bucks.

I went shopping today, and came home with loads of anime! Most of them are by Masamune Shirow, who made the Ghost in the Shell series.I'm so happy!

For some reason I tend to feel that Ghost in a shell is a bit iffy, so I have not felt very much inclination to take a look at it. Is it really good? What sort of audience does it appeal to?

Its a kind of cyber-punk anime, where almost everyone has been augmented in some way.I've only seen the main film, but i got Stand Alone Complex 2Nd Gig today,so i'll watch that tonight.

Anyway, most of the anime i got today was made by Masamune Shirow, and he usually makes cyber-punk or mecha style anime.
Here's a list of all the Shirow anime i have:
Black Magic, Appleseed, Dominion, Orion, Ghost In The Shell, Intron Depot, Ghost in the Shell2:Manmachine Interface, Ghost In The Shell S.A.C.2
