Favorite anime

Easily my favorit e anime are Pincess Mononoke, and Akira. But I would have to say that my all time favorite anime is Naruto. And the books are realy cool as well.:bandit:

I liked Akira and Princess Mononoke, but I absolutely hate Naruto. It's an anime that runs unecessarily long, as well as an anime with a HUGE identity crisis. What audience does it appeal to? One second it's for 4 year olds, the next it's for adults. The plot line is really nothing that hasn't been heard of before, and just concerns little lame peewees pretending to be ninjas. I'm sorry, but if anything, this anime gets a 4 out of 10 in my book.

Hehehe....Orphen, you're sooo funny. But, yes, I do agree with you. Although i've never seen Naruto before, I have read some reviews and yes, it's extremely long.

Thank you, I think. Regardless, I care not for reviews, because that anime has a serious identity crisis, and I enjoy anime with a fine, solid plot, not one that's kinda "pull out of your ass as we go along and prolong the inevitable" kinda anime, like Inuyasha and Naruto, and so on..

omg, you so got that right Orphen. god, i just cannot stand that kind of stuff. that's why i like anime that actually has a good plot and doesn't make you wait a whole darn episode for something that you know is going to happen......(exactly what you said!) Inuyasha is good though, no matter how much i have that problem with it.

Any anime that "takes a bit of time" to get to the good stuff is terrible. It needs to be good through and through.

Exactly. One crappy episode, hey, I can deal with if it can be made up for, but when you have about 400 bad ones and about...20 good ones, then fuck that, I'd rather be watching Pokemon.
