@ Kireek. Yes, Nintendo president Saturo Iwata confirmed yesterday that Sega Genesis games will be made available for download w00t.
@Liu Bei The rumoured launch price is somewhere itro $200-$249. No price has yet been confirmed. I have read on the 'net that some people expect the revolution to launch at $99 but i dont see how that could be possible at all what with the prices of all the components inside each unit and manafacturing costs etc and nintendo being the only company that makes a profit on hardware sales.

i think it is only sega games but i'm not sure....

Ahhh yes, hopefully it will be the best of the whole genesis/megadrive back catalogue, and hopefully(my wish only) some saturn stuff as well(panzer dragoon saga anyone?) but these may take too long to d/load so its gonna be cart stuff only i reckon.

Cool i should be able to d'load the phantasy star games, not to mention Toejam & Earl, Golden axe and the original Sonic games ^_^
I think il probably download more SNES games though, like secret of mana!

Hmm, it appears bad news is in order if you were hoping to play a game of Rare franchise, as Microsoft have announced that all of the Nintendo64 games that were released using a franchise which is currently owned by Rare will not be made available for Nintendo Revolutions Download service 
This unfortunately means no Perfect Dark, Jet Force Gemini, Banjo Kazooie, etc. However, for the games that were developed by Rare through Nintendo owned franchises, there will still be light, as games like Donkey Kong 64 & Diddy Kong Racing should be making appearances 
As to that other popular Rare game, Goldeneye... well, the franchise isn't owned by Rare or Nintendo... but in fact EA of all people, so it's upto EA what happens there unbelievably!
Sad news for so many of the classic and best Nintendo64 games ever really :'(

Could anyone confirm for me wether or not Blast corps is a rare owned title or a nintendo owned title? If it is a rare title i guess i will have to hunt down the cartridge.
I do think that Microsoft are missing out on easy profit not allowing the Rare titles for download, but i can see the point of it though. Why help out the competition?

I might suspect that Rare owns the rights to Blast Corps, though i can't confirm that...

Thanks for that  it seems it is.
Cool methinks but Tony Hawk: Downhill Jam has been announced by Activision as a Revolution launch title. Again it will be interesting to see if the 'unique' controls will be utilised or not.

Cool news here seems that in the latest issue of Famitsu magazine it has been rumoured that Nights will be coming to the revolution courtesy of Sonic team. w00t methinks as they are saying it will be a sequel to the original Saturn game. Lets hope so .... http://www.igniq.com
