what is a hacked mag?

Man I've only been on for a month ok? I can't be on EU servers because of the choppiness (and for some reason the V-tines Day has cured that for the EU servers i went on). Can I help it that my nation is stupid and can't play with anything but hacks (majority, no offense to yall in the forums that are actually legit)? And what exactly does legit mean other than not having hacked mags and superrare weapons like Dark Flow and Dark Bridge? Honestly...I'm really confused and I want to know if I'm legit or not!

Ok, here is the low-down. All legit people stay away from hackers, dupers and un-legit players. Also you must never touch a duped or hacked item for that matter and never use them in the game. It's easy to be legit; the only sacrifice is making all the names of your games "LEGITS ONLY!!!" :p. Legits generally don’t trade to minimalise the risk of getting dupes and hacks, this in turn making the game harder but fun to enjoy. All you have to keep in your mind is that you have to play the game yourself with no help (IE Items, mags, ect) from other people...

Basically Goldie has it in a nutshell (and supply droid, i wasnt trying to be mean im just saying you shouldnt argue so forcefully if you arent aware). But yeah, to be legit you can use the Dark Flow/Bridge/Meteor (you just have to make them like me ) you just cant use hacks or dupes (and goldie, its very easy to determine dupes just by %s, if you check the gamefaqs boards you can get such info-such as the Guld Milla with 30% machine or BKB with 25% hit and 20%dark etc-which the site would benefit from having).

Thats what i have (well as my sig said i have 7 but my two best friends have the other 3 plus many doubles of the ones i have- thats how i got so many rares to donate to Junons supply warehouse). But that is seriously the best set up (unless you use the hacked mags which i made the sad mistake of doing- it sucked, im so high lv on Lion that my stats were almost maxed so i didnt really notice the difference and when i didnt find rares in forever i began to wonder and i accidentally went to my stats screen and all i saw was yellow!!!! except for evp lol)

But I don't have the time to build up every single ID in the game man....Honestly I have work, school, and other things so I can't just be on PSO all the time...it sucks and I really dont think that anyone should have to put in that much effort to "be legit". As long as you play the game right without superpowered weapons (unless you make them yourself) and without hacked mags, shouldn't you be legit? Now if you get these items for free, 9 times out of ten you are not legit, but still if you trade equally (like last night, 29 rafoie and 29 resta for lvl 30 megid and Prophets of Motav) shouldn't it just matter if the items were superpowered and the person didn't actually dupe it up for you?

erm... my mag in the game is level 112 or somthing like that but it still doesnt have a third special so erm.. am i doin somthing wrong or what?

its a varaha/varuna does that make a difference and if so what can i doo about it?

Duping is the illegal (not any actual legalities here just a good word to use) creation or mulitpilication of an item. It can only be done online and i dont WANT to know how they do it.

judging from your sig you sound a bit like you shouldn't need a mag that strong man. And to be on topic you'll also know its hacked if you get stats like level 360 for each (i realized it in a trade i got and dropped it) If you want to go the more fun way then i suggest you stay away from hacked mags. Its just better to raise the mag yourself since you've had it since you started

yea it's better to raise your own mag cause Hacked mags can screw up your char. info right? and if you have a hacked mag...des that make you not legit?
my mag is lvl 141 and i'm trying to get it all power...so i can have my HUcast have alot of strength...right now he's at 1283 str.

Trust me supply you have the times, ive corrupted twice since i owned the game (december 2002) and each time i was pissed but now i look back and am thankful because each time my chars are raised better. Its been since july that i corrupted...almost 7 months of raising 7 chars after school. Its not that hard, a few hours a day and in that time youll be like me, especially with summer around the corner...
