You need a balanced team to triumph in CMode. Having all of one character isn't really a smart idea, since you can get screwed in some situations (Canabins in Mines vs. 4 HUs).
General Ryo--Humar lvl 127
Supply Droid--Racast lvl 88
Chaotic One--Ramar--lvl 40

It depends on mode C-Mode level you are on really. For most of them, I tend to go for 2 Hunter Characters who can deal with close range attacks. A Ranger for ranged attacks and a Force for ranged attacks with magic to. But most of the time you wont really need a Force player in the team, it just helps a bit.

it also depends on whether or not youre TAing (Time Attacking). On C2 for example, 3 FOs is ideal for an insane time. 4 HUs on C1 is also a good choice. If you are just trying to clear cmode, any team will do really. Exception being C9 which requires a HUcast for the Pallasch (or a HUmar with a ton of Power mats).

Yeh good point. If your about to start challenge, I would highly suggest doing Time Attack and getting through the level as quickly as possible. It really worked a wonder for me, as some previous scores I had were very poor

Are 3 forces good for TA on C2? I would have thought that having 3 forces would be bad. Yes you could clear the first stages pretty easy. But with 3 forces, fluids are going to run down pretty fast, and C2 isn't well known for being item box friendly.
A force is dead handy from Ruins up. Or once they get Resta level 3 or above. This will let them heal people around them as well as themselves. Handy for Falz battle if you all stay together. One spell instead of 4 mates (Pilla attack might hit all) is certainly a better trade off.

i assume youve never heard of the scape doll trick? Somebody whos good with a FO should run out of fluids no sooner than area 6 (counting good timing with Level ups), then they drag out their tp til area 7 and die at the end of 7 to regain their tp (that would be the scape doll trick). If all 3 FOs do this, regardless of how crappy the map is you will get through at a quick rate. Also, all 3 FOs must be good and not attack the same monster (more aggression equals better stats for monsters) because that wastes tp and makes the monster harder.

You lot are quite obviously experienced in Challenge Mode to know such things!!
I myself am happy that i FINALLY completed C-Mode 1 earlier today....just me and another guild card friend online! Not all that bad a time either! Mind you it's funny how it saves every area that you last died! Lets look forward to C-Mode 2, probabily to be challenged next year

I have heard of the scape doll trick. I just prefer to play it safe using them. When I played a force on the higher levels, I hated dying on purpose. Just in case I got into a tight corner and got a good beating. I don't think I could do TA for that reason. I don't like dying :p
