The meaning of "Noob"

I think it's stupid when people just use it as any comeback. For example, someone would say this in a conversation:

"You're stupid!"
"Well Your face!"
Well your Mom!"

And then finally:
"Shutup! Stupid NOOB!!!"

That is a typical fight at school. . .

I think noob is just another way of saying newbie. If it was insulting, I would've noticed by now....or maybe i'm just that slow..? (If Cloud Stryder sees this thread, he's gonna hold it over me forever.)

Noob is usually shown as n00b, for leet-speaking idiotic online pricks that think they can 'pwn' everything because they are so far up their own butts they can look out of their belly-buttons.

I can pwn n00bs online, and they doth bow in the RP. They do it for years or days and believe they can pwn. And doth they do not and I pwn. Transcendalist and Astral mechanics wired throught the Omniverse on a Planar Lockdown makes for interesting Planar Mechanics no? I can easily pwn people in RP who've been doing it for several years and believe they are the greatest. You give us too little credit no mercy, if not for us. N00bs or nubs would ruin ALL online gaming and chats. If not for us, the internet would be completely devoid of all knowledge.

But n00b is something more, a more harsh desecration and sacrifice of intellect so great they are as a void, literally, a black hole of idiocy that sucks all into it that it may touch or see. Much like Anna Nicole Smith.

Such a nice display of "maturity" from a STAFF MEMBER... I know you were likely not trying to insult, but some things shouldn't be made fun of, even jokingly. No one has any right to tease someone just because they have no parents, it's cruel in any form and only causes harm. Maybe you'll grow up someday and realize that all your little teasings and making a blatant ass of yourself are not doing anything good for you.
