Apart from Death Note, the detective story with the gripping plot (which is probably only just finished airing in Japan) I've been watching Romeo x Juliet. Before you say "not another remake" this one is actually quite enjoyable. I don't like the artstyle, though, but I love the intro song (You Raise Me Up in Japanese ), and Romeo is almost likable (although he does the surprised face look a bit too much). So far about 11 episodes have come out and the plot is moving along nicely. It's not a complete rewrite, but just enough to keep it entertaining, in my opinion. The setting is in Neo-Verona, all fantasy/mythical-like, with Winged Horses and characters named after other Shakespeare plays and even Shakespeare himself. Got to love Akaikaze costume. ^^

I'm actually really looking forward to the dub of this anime. Although I really dislike nearly all dubbed anime (mainly because they make the Japanese names sound retarded), it looks so strange for them to be speaking Japanese and not English, since the original story is in English.

Oooh. Romeo x Juliet, huh. I've seen at least 5-6 episodes of it, but it's not so great in my opinion. Anyways, I've been watching Shakugan no Shana and I have to admit, it's pretty good. It's kinda dark, though...

Ah, i love anime. Some of my favorites include Naruto, Neon Genesis Evangelon, Full Metal Alchemist, Ruroni Kenshion, and One Piece. I also like Miyazaki movies such as Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle.

Princess Mononoke is a good anime, i also liked Spirited Away, and Castle in the Sky.
