Favorite anime

Been watching some new ones lately. I've seen a little more of NGE, along with Ghost Stories, Heroic Age, and Gungrave. Gungrave, I might add, kicks ASS.

NGE is amazing, if you like that try out Gundam, just dont go for G Gundam and Gundam SD, both of those suck, the original is most likely the best, Gungrave is bitchin =3

Yes! The first story arc of Death Note was extremely well thought out and the plot kept me at the edge of my seat. Kira's just so evil and he thinks he's doing it all for good!

I thought NGE went too over the top with fanservice and gore and everyone was extremely flawed (some people will say it's a good thing), but I liked Misato's character design, like how her life's a mess but she takes her job extremely seriously and is good at it.

What's wrong with G Gundam and SD? Aren't they based on Original Gundam? What do you mean "most likely" the best? I've only watched Gundam SEED and some of Wing, and I loved the love story in SEED. XD

I'd have to say Darker Than Black. Hoping for a sequel.. D. Gray-man is getting back on track after a horrible nose dive >> Getting back to the enjoyable part. Fate/Stay Night was interesting.. Gundam 00 is promising to be an interesting series.

G Gundam was about how gundams were used for a thing somewhat like kickboxing, gundam SD used cell shaded and made for little kids, and i said most likely becauase everyone has different preferences

just got digimon seasons 1-4 and all the movies on dvd! and my god its good to them again! =P better anime than pokemon! (seeing as the characters in pokemon dont punch each other/smoke!)

Haha, kickboxing Gundams sounds silly. What's the SD plot like? It sounds like a spin-off fanservice humor series. Yes, I liked 08th MS team, even though I've not watched any UC Gundam series.

Wait a second, punching each other and smoking makes a series better? What do they smoke? Speaking of Pokemon, I went to HMV and saw a set of DVD for "Pokemon Chronicles". I was a big fan of RBY/FRLG games so naturally I watched the anime, since it had such detailed, properly coloured, animated Pokemon (unlike the sprites in the game) and it was great eye candy. Used to watch the dub on TV and download raws on 56k modem (got constantly yelled at by family for hogging the phone line) because dubs took so long to come out. Pity the DVD set didn't have the Japanese sound track, since I really like Kosanji's (the black uniform Team Rocket guy) voice, so I didn't buy it. Although the newer episodes aren't as good as the Kanto ones, Pokemon anime will always have a place in my heart because it was the first anime series I got into.

More than one Digimon movie? I must obtain it. I love Digimon, I too prefer it to Pokémon. Simply because whilst in Digimon there was an interesting storyline and characters, and didn't revolve around some scrawny ten year old fighting peope older than him with his yellow mouse and winning, then fighting more people with his yellow mouse and winning.

Yeah! I can't believe they still haven't got bored of 500 episodes of him and his yellow mouse, and he still doesn't seem to have aged a day physically or mentally. Talk about monotony and lack of character development. TT_TT

The only character development I've seen is a hentai of Ash getting rowdy with Misty.
