Macross is indeed based on Robotech. There's also an anime series of Robotech, though I've not seen it.

The game kind of bored me anyway. I don't even know where I put it, now. I'd like to see it remade like the anime though, I want my transforming plane.

my fave anime game HAS to be Gotcha Force its funny as hell!

Gotcha Force.. must re-obtain the Gotcha Force game >> That game rocked. So much. Never seen the anime, imagine it's thoroughly lame though.

That brings into play the whole "series vs. game" concept.

to me the Gotcha game totally sucked ass, it was a watered down version of Custom Robo with the targeting of Armored Core 3 (which is a kickass game), i rented it and took it back after a day, i was PISSED that people would hype so much about such a bad game
