Harmfull hacking

I have been watching some videos and i must say OPT (OPTIMUS/Hewhocorrupts) is the kind of cheaters i hate, other ppl didn't like what he did, but what are the real interests/concerns of the ppl that see his videos, because i see lot's of hate in the comments but i don't know at what they are directed at.
I have my own opinion on this and i guess after the questionnaire most answers will be the same, however i'm also interested in details.
I posted this on azure considering it has a good variety of members, since i'm hungry for some answers i decided to extend it here topost, here we have players that play the game on GC or PSO BB and we also have some experienced players.
I would like everyone to participate, even if you don't play on schthack server or don't play pso anymore i would still like to know your opinion.
This here may not happen and may not be possible anymore, but i would like to hear your opinion.

Ok, let's start, they are really simple questions but i may change some aspects to see what ppl do not like, try to respond to all questions in a way that i can uderstand.

There are servers/ships/versions where cheating isn't alowed, then there is the same where cheating and legit gameplay are alowed, do you think ppl should accept harmfull hacking? should it be alowed on schthack?
Do you know any case of OPT corrupting a someone else's char in PSO? (any version)
If you were a GC player, would it matter to you if OPT came to skyline and made a DDOS attack? (Reference), would you be more worried if it was made on terra's luna? depending on the ship he does this attack, would your opinion change to the one where a person doesn't care as long his own char isn't affected? would your concern increase or decrease if this was made on mia team server?
Consider the silent attack (reference), would you be worried if it happened again on crono? would you hate OPT if he did on you considering it doesn't corrupt your char? do you think ppl would care about your situation if it did happened to you? would you hate him more if he did the same on all players in a ship that are your friends? what if he does on another ship? what if he affects only ppl that you never met before, would you hate him more, would you even care about something like a silent attack?

Let's say a team of 3 players come to schthack, one does the silent attack on terra's luna on all players, another one does a DDOS attack on skyline and the last one corrupts a random char on the server.
If you are a GC player would be the DDOS attack worse then the silent attack? would the amount of ppl affected the reason why you consider it's worse even if you didn't knew anyone from skyline? do you think the person that corruped just one char is worse or should receive a heavier punishment then the other 2 players?
Do you think a equal damage was made by all 3 players? if you are a GC player would you care about the PSO BB population? If you are playing PSO BB, would you care about the GC population seeing it's so low? If you are the corrupted char, do you think ppl would care or do something? would you consider the damage done to your char worse then the DDOS attack made on skyline?
If this was done on mia team server, would you even care? If you saw a actual movie of a DDOS attack on mia team, would you comment the video? what would you comment? does not commenting means you don't care?

Let's say a team of 2 players enter schthack server, one is myself meaning i never done something like this and the other one is OPT, let's say all ships have an equal amount of players, i do a DDOS attack on terra's luna and OPT does one on skyline, do you think i should receive the same punishment as OPT (hate aside)? would you hate me for it? would you hate me less if the ship on terra's luna had a low pop and skyline had a higher population?
Would you hate me if i did this on mia team server? would you even care about mia team players? do you consider that what i did was wrong?

I'd treat all versions the same. I don't care if the guy just does it on one where there are about 10 people on at one time at most I'd still care the same if they did it on skyline or terra's luna or whatever.

yes they should all be punished the same. in other words banned permanently to prevent it happening again.

not commenting on youtube definitely does not mean you don't care. that guy isn't going to listen anyway even if all of the world's population posted saying he was a jerk/moron/insert much less tasteful words here.

But for example, if OPT did the attack on Mia team server (or any other server), would the schthack players even care? would they ignore the situation and accept the behavior?

If OPT or some other dude hack and mess up someone charatcter, of course i would care. I know it take lots of work to get lots of rares and then some evil dude just come take it all away. I would hate any hacker who try to mess up pso because he thinks its funny.

If i was playing online with the gamecube and he blew up skyline i would care because he messing with pso and no one can play. He ruining everyone fun. I think hacking should not be allow on schthack or on any other server. If OPT did a DDOS attack on skyline and some other dude DDOS on a small ship i do believe they should receive the same punishment. It doesn't matter because they are hacking and its wrong to do that. If any hacker did a silent attack on me i would vary much care. If it didn't corrupted my character he would try it over and over again. If i did get corrupted i think people won't care too much since it didn't happen to them. They would say that they feel sorry for me and thats it. I would be mad of course but i would still play.

If OPT did a attack on the Mia server i will care because, first he ruining people playing and second he will come to schthack and do a attack to then since he did that on a smaller server.

everybody liking the person isn't an excuse for what they did. they still deserve the same amount of punishment. except of course when it comes to television shows.

*this is what they call it on the forum I spend the most time on. They have a much more lenient limit of 45 days.

I care. I'm fully with Liu Bei on this one. I would hate to see any legit PSO community, whichever version/platform, however small, to be terrorised by these types of hacking.
