You can post in any topic at anytime, but the post must justify the bump, in this case it does and i'm always interested in hearing opinions.
The post is on-topic, the topic creator (me) can still read the post, the post is usefull, i don't see why the topic can't be bumped

What about a good deed, would that clean a past with terrorism? An example, certain person hacks "x" server but creates a usefull tool that converts file type "y" to "z", would ppl ingore his past?

the only way You can be cleaned of your past in my opinion is if you're actually sorry about it.

Also, I don't really understand the good deed here. Mind clarifying? or am I maybe just not understanding it because I'm still tired?

Let's say someone hacks a server in a way that no one can connect, then later, that person releases elsewhere a.....patch that fixes graphical problems on the game.
Bad deed, good deed.

But those players can't connect, and many people only play for online. If you mean a good deed which can be actually benefited from by the victims, then they might consider forgiveness if the hacker regrets the earlier deed, but that doesn't seem to be the case, so no.

If the hacker attacks an entire server just for amusement or to show off, that's unforgivable. If it's for revenge at a group of people, still unforgivable. If something absolutely must be done, go carry out personal attacks on the individual group that wronged him/her. On rare occasions, that might even earn some respect. ¬_¬
