well.... assuming your useing the BBA...
take your ethernet cord (the one comming from your modem or router if you have one)
plug it into your BBA on the gc. then you load up pso and goto the network setup.
Now, at this point if you are useing cable, you have no worrys... all the settings are the default (god I love cable). If your useing DSL you will need to know your username and password (if not running through the router) and then you'll need to know a few more things, which should be included in the little book your ISP should have given you... Then you save the network file and thats all ready to go. Return to the game and choose the website option at the bottom of the screen.. If your network settings are correct you will see sega's pso website on the screen, and the area for you to purchase your HL. Follow the onscreen instructions to obtain your HL. Now, as for filling in all the info, you might want to visit PSO's website and create the account on a computer because we dont all have keyboards for the gc and this can get kinda annoying... Anyways, once you have purchased your HL then you can return to the game. Choose the Online option in the start menu and then you can get online to segas server. The first time you do this you'll need to enter your Serial Number and CD key into the game, as well as a password. Save this data to your memory card (unless you dont want other people accessing the internet with your gc). Then it connects, you choose a ship, a block, then your on!
Ignorance is a disease... and you are infected.
