Special monsters

Difficulty does not alter rare monsters appearance rate.

really... ive seen only three rares in ult but in any other mode (other than normal) ive seen at least twice as many and ive spent about the same time in eatch mode (other than normal)

that's because you don't play on Normal much

But isn't it true that if you are on ultimate you find more specials than on normal or hard? :bandit:

it depends on drop rates, usually, Hard and Very Hard have better drop rates, but Ultimate has better stuff, hence rarer.

Good luck, I tried for 2 1/2 hours like that and nothing appeared, and in a room with 7 lilies no doubt... Also, when I've found like the specials off of a special monster, I've found that once I have 2 in my inventory they stop dropping the item. Is there a reason for that or is it just bad luck? :'(
