my mate is a redria and he has no sync at all and his photon blast does faster than mine. i am a oran with about 4 percent sync. even if we take it in turns geting hit or killing enemies we get the same result

What do you mean by faster?

If you mean stronger, it's because sync is basically the mag's happiness. It's max is 120%. The higher it is, the stronger your photon blast will be. Also taking turns getting hit by enemies has nothing to do with anything in relations to photon blasts, except your gague rises.

i mean that the gauge rises faster

It only rises when

-You take damage
-You give damage

Now critical hits add extra. Also if your mag is a much higher level than your characters level (say a lv 1 using a lv200 mag) the gague would fill up in about 3 hits!

ok that kind of works but my gauge has once ever filled up and my mags level 120. im on very hard if that makes any difference

Maybe he gets hit for more damage than you so his gauge fills faster. I don't know but does class make any difference. Maybe a HU gauge fills faster than a FO's?

it may seem that hunters mags get their pb blasts sooner than forces because the techniques dont add to the pb

Did you know that a good way to get your PB is to kill monsters with a heavy attack. Does not work with claws recons or any of them small monsters.
