PEOPLE PEOPLE!!!! come on. Gran turismo 3 is easily the best of them all. at least for graphics and realism and game play and controls and sounds and everything else.

in my opinion the best handling racing game is MSR, the cars are heavy and feel powerful, but not ridiculous, i mean come on if gran turismo wasnt so tasty to look at would people still play it?! probably not, in my opinion gran turismo is way over rated, the original changed the racing genre the sequel carried on and since then, theyve just got prettier.
but there are better racing games nowadays

one racing game that wuz 4 the n64 called beatle adventure racing and Rush 2049 were the best multiplayer eva!!! Who else has played these?

do you remember GTI Club in the arcade? that game was excellent, racing around in a Renault 5!! it was just so much fun

Classic video game. When I was four I couldn't stop playing this on my NES. Please tell me someone has played Rad Racer. My NES doesn't work too well anymore but this...game...is...god! lol

I played RUSH 2049 on the DC and Heavy Arsenal is right, it was amazing on multiplayer but it's a bit old now. Nowadays i think Need For Speed Underground is right up there but one summer holiday i went on they had a Sega Rally arcade machine about 2 mins from my house so i fell in love with that to.

Hmm, Rallisport Challenge 2 is a decent racer, and along the lines of F-Zero, XGRA is a very cool racing game. Bit easy though.

totally agree with top post, nfsu is king of racers, to hell with gt3 who wants to drive normally?!?! i can spend days locked in my room customizin an endless line of top cars, god help me when nfsu2 comes out :S
