The word "n00b"

Uhhhh, riiight, too bad I dont play CS, (wish I had it but I don't) in all the games I play its all about the n00b, or in the case of RuneScape (great game) all about the ch00b...

Ive never seen anyone say ch00b on runescape, what world do you play on?

Im always on World 24 & i know everyone there says n00b or noob.

Ah, I usually play on either 18 or 16, I see it less then in past times, but some people still carry on the tradition of the ch00b...It sadly, was ended for the most part at the end of RSC.

Think about it logically...(how many times have I had to say that now?) The word newbie already has an abreviation...newb...the word n00b and the word newb are both four letter words, why would you make up another four letter word just to replace the one already in existance...?

I enjoy this conversation, not many times have I been able to talk like this without it escalating into a flame war...

Well, the mere fact that they sound like eachother is a coincedence then?

Possibly, but as I said, words can evolve...the word newb comes straight from the word newbie where as the word n00b does not...and as I said before...why invent a new word thats the same ammount of letters just to replace a word thats already in existance.

Uhh, if they are insulting people then they will just use the old word, not take the time to make up a new one, if they were insulting people they wouldn't call them new, they would call them stupid...thanks for taking the time to proove me right...

i call everyone stupid at one point in time, and besides saying someone is new at sumthin is more of statin a fact not an insult. u can't do anything about being new except play more,and u can't insult someone about sumthin they can't change,that's just shallow and cold.
