Omar, I have known this for a while. I have just always been to lazy to really state it. And I am coming back to the site, as mentioned in my "it is possible" thread. But anyway, continuing, it is quite possible, as sega did release the weapon, but had it banned during a server maintenance way back. The parasite gene "flow" had existed offline at one point. As I had lost interest in PSO, I simply got off this forum and went offline for quite a while. Regardless, Orphen having been a strictly offline character, I managed to get the parasite gene "flow" at about level 139. About a month later I managed to get PSO online, in which time I lost most interest for the game. Being online opened alot for me, and I managed to perfect him online, hence, him being at level 200. There is no possible way to "prove" that my getting the actual weapon is legitimate, I guess only I can know that, but regardless, you can at least believe that what I said earlier about getting the Gene without ever going online first, is possible. I am not too sure if this applies for the Red Ring for dark falz, because I have never seen one.

And, Omar, hopefully neither I nor the other members on this forum need to deal with your petty shit now. I came back to this site to enjoy myself, and possibly help the other members on this forum out, and not to have to worry about you and your sarcastic flame bait.

I posted my geniune concern as to where your information would come from and how you would just suddenly realise it to be true (especially as it is unheard of on the other forums that I visit).

Please refrain from flaming Orphen, it was incalled for and only lowers the tone of what could be an interesting topic.

Anyway, back on the topic that you started..

your memory card can never have gone online, otherwise sega would have put the patches for the game on your memory card.

I always thought that Sega could not patch your game through the memory card on GC. Isn't that the reason why Xbox had the main duping glitch fixed and GC did not?

If you are referring to them turning the drop rates off for both online and offline, then I find that very hard to believe, especially after Sounomi informed us that ST would have to either release a new disc or make a new quest to change drop rates.

Without proof I am afraid I do not believe what you are claiming.

And you are right.

The game code says there is no way to get PG:F and Red Ring, therefore there is no way to get PG:F or Red Ring, case closed.

Trying to go against what the game code says will only ruin your feeble credibility.

If that tested 100000 times theory was true, many people that play strictly offline -- because they do not have the choice -- would know of it.

And yes, ST cannot patch anything on the GC memory card.

they cant put patches on your memory card, id imagine because a memory cards memory is quite small really. so they can only change how the game works on the server. Eg: you cant take some weapons online because there banned, but id imagine you can use em offline
