This is amost as bad as these idiots who think that giving weapons from a higher level character to a low level new character is illegitimacy.

Duplicating weapons as a backup is simply a precaution in case one FSODs or corrupts and loses their items. It's simply using a glitch against another glitch to protect one, sure, two wrongs don't make a right, but people who make backups dont use the backups and keep them on another memory card just in case on actually does FSOD and lose all of their items.

Would you like to find an uber-rare item and juse lose it a second later? I would think not.

The FSOD glitch shouldn't be in there. You shouldn't fear playing online because you may lose your best items that you took ages getting. That is not how ST intended you to play PSO.

Okay, lets see, if you found a weapon that your characters was incapable of using...Lets say you had a Skyly FO, and somehow managed to find a Sealed J-sword, are you telling me you would seriously keep that on your FO? I th ink not. Transferring items is somethng that sega allows you to do, and it is not modification of game data, it is in no way illegitimate. Try reading the End user agreement. And while you're at it, you can also think about how "Trading items" A function sega purposely made on PSO, is illegitimate as well.

There is nothing wrong with giving items among your own characters...I had to give my HUcast a dragon slayer that my FOnewearl found in the Ruins, if transferring is so wrong and she's supposed to keep it then how the hell should a FOnewearl use a dragon slayer??? :S

if you read my post you will find that Did Not say that transfering items was cheating, I did however say backing up was cheating
