To be honest, I was around level 83 with my first xbox steppenwolf before I hooked up with a group of people that really pointed out the differences in items and such. By then I had about 6 other lower characters, both my daughters had characters. Talk about getting hacked items, girls are literally shaowered with them. Since then I've played both ways (actually three ways) and have had fun with each, always depending on who I play with. That's what it's all about folks.

well again you have a point but i am totally 100% anti-cheating it really spoiled playing online for me and what do you mean three ways? this confuse's me

. Three because of the different opinions of what legit is. There's a 100% agreement on hacks and dups; but handimg down to new and lower level characters or using items found by players in different games creates a lot of disagreement on the term legit. So, mostly to differentiate things in my mind, I have a couple characters that I refuse to hand down items (not even meseta) to, and will only accept items from others if it's found in the specific game we're playing. That's the only way to be absolutely positive (outside of extreme loyalty to friends) that it's not duped. These characters I call "Uber Legit" as compared to my "simple legit" character.

i guess i would call my self "über legit" couse i dont cheat or hack. but i dont get it why they hack they can get into jail for it right?! and one more thing if ya pick up a hacked thing what happens?!?

id say i was legit i trade only with peeps who's views on hack/cheating are h8 it and i will give items to my other chars but only if i found it eg. found a DB'S sword needs atp 137 so gave to my lower lvl hunter cuz then i can get sum use out of it

On Xbox if you have one of those 1300+ mags, or a photon crystal, you wont be seeing nearly as many red boxes if you start the game. But nothing happens if it's a copy of a legit item, or a unsealed J-sword, or a weapon with 127%ages on it.
Remember that Uber legit means that you don't even hand down any items from your other characters (if you want to accept my definition).

why it isnt illegit to hand down weps and i only do it if its on same difficulty bu not anymore im too strong for my other chars.

Go back about 5 posts, or maybe I wasn't clear. I'm not saying that it isn't legit to hand down items found or developed by your other characters. But many people want to differenciate between those characters and characters that are totally pristine, that is you use meseta and items that have been found in games by that character only. After you've done some hand me downs, or sharing, or whatever you want to call it, try to start a char that refuses to use anything that that character didn't find by itself. It's aquite a challenge, and takes some patience.
