Ok, thanks. I had been doing it right all along! But is it true that once the slimes have split, theres a 1/43 chance of it being red, or am I reading bullshit from GameFAQs...

Heh yeah, heaven punisher is a pain for what it is =/ from what I've heard it's not all that great... though it's special is flashy and can tick some peeps off online. Though I doubt that'll stop me from hunting it when I get bored with other stuff.

Yup, that's false, the chance is exactly the same as coming across one normally.

No, I mean when the slime splits, the chance halves from it. But I probably was reading turd on a webby then...

Sorry, guess I didn't make myself clear enough. No a slime that is the product of splitting still has the chance of being the rare couterpart as much as the original.

I asked this same question in my 'Skyly Item Findings' thread, but I'll ask here too. About what level do I have to be to pass through ult. caves w/o too much difficulty?

...with your character being a HUmar and having never used a HUmar I'm not entirely sure. But my HUcast, RAmarl, FOmarl and FOmar all made it through Ult Caves at about lvl 100 without a struggle. It really all depends upon how well you've raised your mag, and equipment. With the right mag and equipment you could probs burst through it at 90...
If you want access to mines I suggest playing through and piping up and down to use the infirmary to cure tp and the sort to save on cash spent on restorative items.

The ultimate caves? hey're pretty easy. Every enemy is really predictable, so It's not that hard.

hmm... just on hard but when ya pipe you do a telepipe and pipe up
(that sound funny) and then when you pipe down again you the enemy is "reappearing" ???
and about slimes if ya miss 2 and hit 1 they split aight?!
