What I like in the 1st is that we see the Chain Sawd better, but the angle on the animation on the second pic is better, it also gives a better view of the trail effect.

I prefer the second, personally. Adds a bit of excitement to the whole thing.

The first gives a slightly better view of the weapon...the second out of frame. So I'd say #1.
