no, technically it is not...

DS was launched completely separate from the GameBoy line...

That is why GameBoy is still making games for the Advance...

So the ds is supposedly a new system in itself...

i know ds looks like advance and sp combined...

but ds is not a gameboy...

Well yeah, technically its not a GB (not backward compatible, but its not in the same line of products so meh). But most people consider it a Gameboy, even if, technically it is not.

I thought up a great spell for PSU . It can be called Barrier Wall or something and it erects a barrier either in a wall or a bubble shape and it has HP or it takes tp and hp to cast (if it used your hp then the wall would have however much hp was sucked from you). It would be a support tech as it levels up it increases in HP and, at higher lvs. forms around your party. In order for enemies to break it they must reduce the walls HP to 0 and they when the barrier breaks it either hurts you, or in the case it sucks your hp in order to make it, it does nothing. This tech can only be learned by FOrces and its use is mostly for teching FOrces who can either cast behind it(if it is a wall) or inside of it(bubble). Do you all think this would be cool, or is it just me.

I kinda' think that the levels will be different so the woman will be gone, even if it is the same.

Also, the DS is backwardly compatable, being able to play 99% of all GB games with no problems.

The Nintendo DS can play all currently available GameBoy Advance games by slotting them into the hole underneath the Touch Screen on the console. However, Nintendo have said it cannot play GameBoy, and GameBoy Colour games...

As far as it is known, Phantasy Star Universe will be a console game, while the only PS game likely to be made available for the DS is Phantasy Star Online, which there was some speculation over last year when it may be a straight port of the SEGA Dreamcast game, adjusted to use the touch screen, being online compatable, and using a special headset which you can use to chat to people in realtime online in lobbies, much like an Xbox Live headset. Thats nothing confirmed though.

GBC games and regular GB games do work though, I've seen someone play an old game on one of them.

Well, to be honest, im not surprised, i would have expected them to work. I couldnt tell you from experience because i havent got one yet, dam NoE!

Anyways, its a different issue for a different thread, lets get back onto PSU please...

i'd like a better summoning ability than PB. Like actual enemies from the game, or bosses that you have to beat to earn as a kind of PB (yeah i know it sounds heavily like FF8).
