Switching data to data
#11
Well, I suppose it could be funny to create four of your character... sorta like a one-guy-splits-into-four-guys scenario. But only one would have the weapons... unless you were to resort to duping, of course.

whiteninja Wrote:you have memory cards labeled A, B, C, D, E,...... A has your original data on it.

put B in slot 1, A in slot 2.
transfer file from A to B.
put A in slot 1
on A, cancel the transferred status of the file (ignore the warning)
put B in slot 1, A in slot 2.
transfer the file from A to B, you have two copies of the same char on B's temp files, the newer one has no items, the older one has them
drop the items from the older temp copy, to the newer one you just put there.
transfer the copy you just gave the items, back to A.
repeat using A and C, then A and D, then A and E, .....

there's no practical use for it though, because you can only use the temp copies in multiplayer.

Say wha? I only got a few things out of that. But basicly, that will get me two of the same char. on one card? Or that will make the origenal on my file and a temp on the other?

it gives you card A, with your original file on it, the original file and nothing else. cards B, C, ..... get 1-3 copies of that character on the temp file spaces (only multiplayer, and they don't have items, only levels, stats, and techs). i also suggest that if you do this, that you don't put three copies on one card because then it'd be harder to get your items back and you couldn't do multiplayer with characters from another card with them. sorry for confusing you even more Tongue
Too legit to quit.

you need the card with the original data and all the extra ones you want to have copies on. so yes, you need multiple cards

Someone should make a digital camera shot of four identical players like that. I'd do it, but I would want to be able to use the same weapon on all four of the characters (and I'd rather not try the process before I do it with a level-1 dummy character).

Why don't you use something simple like a saber? And use a dummy memory card so you could use a duped good item. The screen shot it. Eh, it worth it. And its ok to use a third party there. Cause hey! Its a level one dummy! Or not. A temp high level dummy!

Yo, you should make the "Rappys HATE me" empire. It'd so win.

Say, how do you dupe items? I know its bad to do so but im so curious...
