Extra mode?

i understand that you get extra mode when you complete chapter four on story mode, but can you take your extra mode character online? or is online and offline completely seperate?

online is completely seperate. From what I understand it's to avoid people flooding the game with duped/hack'd items like what happened in Diablo 2 and from what I've heard PSO as well (black mechguns, anybody? lol)
no more online mode for me anymore, perhaps some day.
Forever wishing there were actually unique looking weapons in PSU.

oh thats a shame, i wont be online for a while so most ppl will be high levels when i get on.
well nevermind if it stops the servers from becoming duped hell then it can only be good for us. imagine 3 years from now that PSU will still be clean. sounds good

You'll be fine. Just enjoy the super fun wonderful universe of extra mode, and then you'll find loads of other people your level when you get online! Plus, I'm sure there are also loads of people higher leveled than you willing to help out!

Just like on PSO, one of my favorite things to do is spend many valuable minutes in the character creation screen, panning fun designs with no point! I only actually have 1 extra mode character (who is officially level 50, whoohooooo!) but its fun to see what might be my next character!
