Right, I'm just about to complete story mode, I'm gonna do chapters 10-12 in one hit, and so far, I'd just like to say this has been the best PS game so far. Even more so than 4. Sure, the voice acting sucked, and it's a little easy, but it still manages to do it's job as an RPG. I even felt sad when Lou died, I did. I didn't even blink when Mirei died, because if she's as "OMGZ DIVINE MAIDENZ" as she claims, then like her stupidly high MST should have no trouble warding off one tech, right? Pish! But yes. Lou made Reigast sad =[
I can't wait to see the ending. It's painfully obvious who the last boss is going to be though.

I was sad when Mirei died, simply because I knew it meant i'd lose Karen, whom I like. Although in chapter 12 she's really annoying me. Also, be careful in chapter 12, that mission is one hell of a ride if you aren't ready for it.

the 3 enemies before the final boss gave me a ton more trouble than the boss himself...stupid megid from behind...grumble grumble...
The cutscene before the last boss is great, though.
no more online mode for me anymore, perhaps some day.
Forever wishing there were actually unique looking weapons in PSU.

So far, offline mode has been actually laughably easy. The only boss I've had trouble with was the one Doghi Miroku or whatever his name is rides about in. Then i managed to get caught behind him as he span and double sabered him into the ground. =]
The Double Saber's PA does actually own anything in this game.

Yeah, the double saber photon art kicks serious butt. Though I prefer the twin sabers one, since i've levelled it up more. But really, be careful in chapter 12, the enemies are brutal, especially the Chaos Sorcerer-like monsters. Poison, freeze, burn... all at once? Hoys...

That really sounds enjoyable to fight. I think I'll just spam the Double Saber PA ad infinitum.

I tried with my newly +10 grinded Two-Headed Ragnus. X_x hells they're still tough as old boots. Bet they smell, too.
