I'm trying to beat Barba Ray to get a double Saber, but hes hard. I didn't get a chacne to beat him the first time I fought him but he was doing a lot of damage to me. Any tips on fighting him? I'm useing my RAmar, so look in my sig to see my weapons. I learned how to dodge his pig ray attack and that poisen spear thing.

Use the Cannon to get many hits on him while he is in the water. Or on the ship. Use your most damaging weapon on him while his head is on the raft. I personally have never taken this guy on with a ranger, but Ive watched my friend do it, and thats how he did it.

why not try for something else if you aren't getting it, then you might get it when you least expect it!

Or try getting it on a day when you've already been finding rares with that character. There's a trend there... I'm still trying to figure it out... but it seems to work okay. As for Barba Ray, what skill are you doing it on? You should have no trouble taking it out in Hard, so I'm assuming VHard. Personally, I finish Episode 1 before playing 2 on the same skill... of course, this means I fly through the temple, but we all know CCA is the best Episode 2 level, anyway  (I find the VR levels rather boring).

get a good armor use deband so u can suvive some of his atacks use the varista when he is in the water when he jumps on use the mecs
