yeah my brother and i have been pipeing back and fourth to find an al rappy in hard mode to get a branch of paku paku witch has a 7/8 chance of being droped for pinkal and blueful the first time we didn't have either with us and it didnt drop its rare thingy anyway. then he found one in single player killed it and didn't get his infernal bazooka 1129 meseta isn't bad though then we went and found a third one and i killed it with my pink charicter still no rare and finally he had his blue guy and i had my pink charicter and you know what it droped a monomate. so i think the 7/8 is wrong because we killed 4 and didn't get anything good. a little help with this problem might be good.

perhaps the drop rate is wrong, but with my bluefill character i got branch of paku paku with the first al rappy i killed.

maby i will just go hunting with my gobomas claw till i run into one i will kill it then it wont drop what i want then i will find another one my hunter is pink my force is red lol they got flip floped.... my new force that i made like an hour ago is orange

Just bad luck, I know someone that went thru 13 rare monsters and did not get the 7/8 drop.

Drop rates are evil... that's the easiest way of putting it. "Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong." so basically if you know the normal drop rate, chances are it won't come through for you. I've NEVER had a rare enemy not drop what it was supposed to until I looked at a drop rate chart for the first time... *sigh*

damn pink that sucks. well i guess kefka is right its just bad luck. not to mention i just used over 300 pipes and found two al rappies the first one got away and the other one droped an antidote, i'm an andriod damnit!
not double posting...
in the mist of this though i found out that you have about a 1 in 150 chance of finding a pikachu i mean al rappy

Yes, but even if it's 1/150, if you have 8 then it'll only take about 18 telepipes to find an Al rappy.
My suggestion: Take the Fake in Yellow offline quest in Episode 1.
When you get to a certain room, there's 8 rappies in the room. Set your telepipe so you can see all of the rappies and keep telepiping. Like I said, it will only take you about 18 telepipes to find an Al rappy.
Also make sure that your not stacking, or have a Hacked MAG attached.

Just because you've killed something 3 times with no rare, it doesn't make a drop rate incorrect. RATES are not incorrect. They are rates, not a crystal ball.

Just like if you killed 20 Al rappys and didn't get the item that had a 87.5% chance of appearing.
Or if you killed 1 Hildetorr and got the Syncesta that you've been looking for with a rate of 1/22.
