Resident Evil 4

anyone else played this game? what is your opinions on it if you have?


im a big resident evil fan, and this one is in my opinion the best yet! enemies are smarter, takes more strategy, less puzzles... <3.

im stuck at salazar at the end of disc 1 though... i started a new game because i can't save up enough to buy a broken butterfly or the rocket launcher to kill him, so i have to use a red9, which takes forever.......

It is a fine game and shows just how truely powerful the cube really is. Gorgeous graphics, ok A.I. and brilliant character physics.

I, however, dont believe that it the best yet. I know the argument of sometimes things have to change to move forward but i think that there was too much action, not enough scares this time. Try Resident evil biohazard for cube, costs around a £10 note ($15) new and has a load more scares in it.

I do hope the new incarnation of Resident evil will scare all of us witless as it should be.

Saying all this though does not mean i dont like the game, i do like it, bought it played it etc etc and it was one of the cubes finest hours.

Biohazard is the name of the RE series in Japan, and 4 is the best yet. The others didn't have any scares, you just couldn't see shit on screen so you didn't know what was hitting you. That's not scares, just bad game design....

i was eyeing the resident evil remake for gamecube about a week ago. (the biohazard one) but it looked kind of... dark. lol! so i but resident evil : deadly silence, pretty cool but since i was using a guide the whole time i knew what was going to happen so there was almost no scares o_O.

so far i've played:

Resident evil 0 (never played but step sis has it, but i saw videos)
Resident evil : Code veronica X or whatever (i hated this one...)
Resident Evil 1
Resident evil 2
Resident evil 3 (only a bit)
Resident evil: deadly silence
and
Resident evil 4.


resident evil 4 is my favorite, pretty cool. i dont mind that they focused more on action, and i love the laser pointer... (hate those ****in parasites though).

has anyone here beat it?

Yeah beat the game a few times. For a challenge try taking out the chainsaw guy with your knife without losing your head lol.

I play Resident Evil for a long time. I have to say that i like RE4 the most.

Maybe its not as scary or surprising as some other Episode, (RE1 GC, RE2) but its by far the most motivating RE.

And for me it just makes the most fun to play !

The controls are finally very smooth and the graphics are amazing

but RE2 was by far my favorite resident evil... didn't even get far on it... but still, RE2 ftw.

i've beaten re4 12 times ,bought and used every single weopon but then sold most of them back and kept the chicagotypewriter ,infiniterocketlauncher,simiautosniperifle,and the killer7.I got every person on the mercinaries.
