As I said in a thread based around stupid things, it was part of a Physics experiment. It really hurt, though not as much as I expected it to. I expected it to feel like iron barbed-wire heated to about 1350 Celsius - instead it felt a bit like a million angry wasps stinging my wrists...
plus samus gets cool new weapons in new games instead of crappy weapons in the new zelda games!
