Just want to know what everybody thinks about it
It was pointless and it sucked.
i think that america should hav kept out of it from the start but since they didn't the only gud thing 2 hav come out of this war was the fact that an evil b*stard like saddam hussein was removed.
You'd see it more from our point of view if your country had been attacked like ours was. I've been to New York City and seen the giant holes where the World Trade Center USED TO BE Angry Angry Angry :'( , now THAT is major f***ed up bul***it.
We all know that Iraq was NOT behind the WTC incident so why bring that up?

On topic: George Bush was nuts to declare war, and Tony Blair was a f***ing idiot to have followed him like a dog. Which is why I want to see Tony Blair kicked out of Parliament, and the whole of Labour for that matter. Up the Lib Dems...

up the lib dems? u mean a massive spending black hole (higher taxes) the libdems need to learn how to do simple math before they even consider looking for election, plus theyre leader needs to get off the bottle.

the UK government made the right decision at the right time with the information they had, and this was that Irag could lauch nuclear or other weapons with in 45 mins, if it wasnt for the US and UK acting then goodness knows wat things would be like. and i bet the ppl who moan about the Iraq war would be the first to criticise the UK and US government for not doing anything if they didnt act.

i presume the Kurds are happy aswell, presumably because the majority of their ppl anret getting executed every single day and the Iraqi ppl aswell who arent being treated as prisioners in their own country.

Well at least somebody finally sees the not-so-negative side of this.
I agree that capturing sodamn insane is a good thing, but i just dont think that it was acheived in the way that it should have been. A lot of people lost their lives in a war that was based on some pretty scratchy evidence.

the evidence was wrong at the time, but that was one of the many reasons why the wat begin.
we cant begin to imagine how many kurdish and iraqi lives have been saved.
SirTom is doing quite a good explaining my ideas heheh.
With the information they had (ie weapons of mass destruction) then I feel it was a legit reason to go to war. But now the information has proved to be rushed/falsified, Blair should say a clear sorry, and that we did use false information.

But on the flip side, why do you really need an excuse to get rid of someone who persecutes his own people. Of course, we can't really talk, living thousands of miles away. We don't REALLY know what's going on, apart from the media which won't give a clear, unbiased opinion. Some people liked Sadaam, some didn't. Unless you live there, you can't get a clear picture.
