Yeah, that really does suck. At least you did find an actual rare though, even if it isn't the one you wanted.
i think your theory actaully does work- i didnt really want the milla when i got it beacuse i was mapping out all the places where there were tollaws. id just mapped out 3 more, killed them not expecting anything (not really wanting anything, as i just wanted to get to the next tollaws) and BAM! milla....

How ironic that you said you found a Milla this way. I too found a Milla using the stated theory. I was only trying to clear offline Forest, then bam! First or second [can't remember] tollaw drops it. There I was thinking it was only a PD too.

when did you find yours? i got it yesterday at 2.30, which seems to be a pretty lucky time :S
I found mine about two or three days ago. I know it was in the middle of the day, and I didn't even bother checking the beat time[or real time for that matter]. I know other people who found good rares they have been searching for a long time the next day. Maybe this is just a good week for finding rares.
Well today i didnt really "find" anything but i got st0n3r bob up to 14 killed dark falz at 13 (online ofcourse with 4 pplz in a party one being a lvl27)and traded a lvl 200 mag for a flowens sword+80(i think) and a jcutter+150 well thats about it
*Edit* also in challenge mode i killed a hildeblue (spelling?)

What are the stats on the mag? That sounded like a good trade on your part, I don't have any weapon with grinds that high yet[highest I have is 50 for a red hangun]
so far yesterday sorry forgot to post it
i found 2 red mechs 1 unteched at 0/15/0/0 and 1 teched at 0/0/25/0 thay add my 0/0/0/0 that i have ground up to +30
