each time i start up pso on my gamecube it tells me there is no disk and i have to turn of the power and turn it back on again, and i have to repeat this until it finally decides to work (up to about 30-40 times on a bad day)
also, ingame it struggles to load weapons every now and then ( i changed to a justy which never appeared and my cube started making loud noises so i quickly changed back again) and will also crash every now and then.

just wondering if this is the games fault or my 'cubes (both are quite old and the no disk thingie has happened with a few of my other games before but never for as long as pso made it)

:S
Are there any scratches/gouges in the cd?
I think it is your cube dieing, scratches on the disc wouldnt let game load at all, i dont think

Also you said it happens sometimes to your other games
the disc is still in quite good condition and it does happen with my other games but nowhere near as often.
It has to be the cube then.
then i shall experiment on my brothers gamecube. (his ones faulty in a different way Tongue )
Hahaha......this one gave it away when you said, my cube started to make loud noises......have you cleaned your cube? Such as dust gets in it..clean it out with an air can....is my guess
For how long have you had your GC and how often do you play?

Edit: Your brother's is faulty too? For how long has he had his GC and how often does he play?
4 years methinks and i play it everyday (mostly on pso)

MY GAMECUBE CANT BREAK ITS NOT ALLOWED TO!

my brothers was faulty since he got it, it keeps crashing (every hour or so) no matter what he does or what he plays and he couldn't take it back for some reason (i was being ignorant at the time)
I have never heard of that happening...what? does he throw his gamecube at walls for fun or something?
