Well I'm not sure about how legit it is, but it seems a bit silly and boring to me.

Yes and it's a may/ may not get situation........

You spend large amounts of time piping but getting no exp, and you may or may not get said wepon you are hunting for. It's a different way of hunting. I see nothing wrong with it at all.........

That's like saying going for a God/Arm off a Redria, VH, Caves, Pan Arms (1/41) is illegit because it takes less time to do than to getting it off a Purplenum, Ultimate, Forest, Gulgus-Gue (1/1100ish). If you are saying that, then please, get off the drugs.

Yes, piping is boring, but no, it is not illegit.

It's not cheating the system at all, heck the people who made the game probably wanted you to be able to do that... I'm a very legit person myself, but this seems okay to me.

Its not cheating in my opinion, after all ST released the info on Piping and if they considered it to be so bad they would have removed it from the GC and XBox versions.

what is piping :S

Find a group of enemies that have rare forms, make a Ryuker/Telepipe, return to Pioneer2, go back to the level, pipe back and forth, over and over, until one becomes rare. (Rappies, Lillies, Hildes, and Slimes can be piped)

It just like that, do you think it is illegit to wear something below the uniform if it's too cold? (at least in my school you're supposed not to do that)

I think its legit, its not like your changing the games actual code to get the rare.
