I went on the link you gave, and they're out of stock. Then I went on Ebay and it's gonna set me back like £40. Sad

P.S. I think these two are appropriate...

lol, you guys are funny. everyone on this thread seems to think they are the best of the best. but sadly we all know i would pwn you if i had mario kart DS Tongue , no stopping me and donkey konga!!!
Yeah yeah. All talk, no action. Tongue

Hopefully I'm getting Mario Kart in a matter of hours. The adapter though...

EDIT: I've got it, and I've got to say... WOW! It's great! I bet it's much better online though... Big Grin
Well... I "should" have a DS and this game at Christmas time. It's a bundle pack that's on sale that I may be able to use. It comes with the DS, Mario Kart DS, Animal Crossing, and the adapter all for $179.99.
But wait, Animal Crossing comes out over there for Christmas, while we have to wait until February? How's that fair? It's not like the language or content is any different... Stupid rest of Europe.Tongue
adapter? i thought you just needed a WiFi connection?
Haha you vgcats addict :p

Just out of curiosity when playing online, only 4 players per race are allowed and there can be no cpu-controlled racers as well, am I right?
Nope, what happens is you select what type of people you want to play with online, the connection then searches for others of that particular type, and brings back 1 - 3 others and matches you up, then starts a grand prix Big Grin

It doesnt matter if you are chosen to play with just one other person or three, there are no computer racers online, and also all of the courses arent available online. If someones disconnects during a grand prix, they simply time out and then disappear for the rest of the grand prix.

Sebastian, if you already have a Wi-Fi connection at home (I.e. using a compatable wireless router with your broadband internet connection), then you don't need an adapter. You also dont need an adapter if you plan to use a Wi-Fi HotSpot. In all other cases, you'll need an adapter Smile

The packages you've got there pink sounds very nice indeed, bargain! It's just so... so... stupid of Nintendo not to sell DS bundles that include Mario Kart DS with the adapter too, even stupider (Is that a word? hehe) not to sell it in shops at all or get some kinda partnerships going!

And faulkie... it's not february, it's march - april! Tongue
oooo goodie. i tryed hooking up on the WiFi connection without the mario kart ds game and just my DS and it said it was connected. and then i read that and i was like "o noes! :'( :S "
