The fact that it makes you turn ridicuolously, and it gives you a turbo.

so is it basically drifting? or what?

they drift to one side, do the mini turbo, drift to the other side, do a mini turbo, and so on. its doing mini turbos on straightways. and it makes a snake-like motion, thus called snaking.
