I only ever got to play Episode 1 online properly, and I played 2 and 3 offline, but couldn't grasp much of a storyline from them. (I played as Orland for like, the whole thing.) I also missed episode 4.
So what happens in PSO? How does it all end!?
I must know!
If anyone could fill me in, I'd be proper grateful.

Are your characters in Extra Mode the same ones you use Online when you go on, or are they seperate?

Maybe you guys can help out, i'll post this on the god awful official boards too, maybe one of the damned can shed some light on it also.
My PSU crashes! the screen goes black, followed by a box with the message "switched windows, PSU.exe will now end"
after this, i get a pop up from ati saying that the graphics cards had a problem and asks if i want to report it.
This happens so often that i can rarely complete an entire mission, with bruces dungeon out it means i endanger everyone in my party, today i screwed them all out of loads of everything, it makes it that much more annoying.
This never used to happen, nothing, that i know of, has changed between it working fine and now. It's just died.
Our Graphics card is a ATI radeon 9550, is it just time to get a new one? because i'm out of cash.
and if it influences it in any way, we use two hard drives, a smaller one which runs windows 2000, and the other where everything is stored.
i dont want to hinder anyone else ingame, its not fair i now drag others down aswell as me.
EDIT: new info stolen from someone with the same problem, opens up the possibility that this was caused by a gameguard update. it started happening to the other around the last gameguard update.

| Bruce's Dungeon |

For everyone's benefit, a set of rules and guidelines can be found herein. A strategy may be devised from player input.
Information:
Bruce's Dungeon is known as a "Party" mission, in that it requires at least 2 players (Partner Machines and NPCs do not qualify). The maximum is 5, since Bruce, the shopkeeper NPC from Offline Story, tags along. It is styled like a PSO stage, requiring teamwork to proceed.
The mission is selectable from the Moatoob GUARDIANS Branch.
The mission is timed: A 25 minute countdown begins as soon as the first laser fence opens (The entire party needs to be assembled there to open it.)
If a player leaves the party, for whatever reason, the mission is failed. Incapacitation also results in failure, as does returning to Moatoob.
Rule One: YOU DO NOT AFK IN BRUCE'S DUNGEON. EVER. You will be needed to open the gate at the start of Block 2, and your lack of combat contribution will slow the party down, resulting in a lower grade.
Rule Two: If it's at all avoidable, try not to split up. In a large group, combat goes faster, which means that you'll reach the end quicker, getting a better grade. This is less true on C-Class if you're trying for S.
Rule Three: Communicate. The mission requires the party to separate frequently, to hit buttons in a certain order and to take multiple teleporters. Good communication allows you to quickly choose the correct option and clear the mission faster.
A guide for the Japanese version, which should nevertheless easily translate, can be found here.
For the Record: Listen to Bruce at the four teleporters in Block 1. That tells you which is the correct one.
Nearest: Nothing.
Left: Refers to Handgun.
Right: Refers to Saber.
Furthest: Asks you which is correct.

Just an update on my broadband situation and a warning to anyone thinking of going with Tiscali.
DON'T
It's now been well over a month and still they have not sorted my being able to play online between the hours of 5 and 11pm.
Despite contacting various people nobody is able to sort out the issue and they are unwilling to give me any form of compensation or allow me to cancel the 12 month contract.
The situation has become worse with me being unable to get online at various other times, all down to tiscali and their lack of ability to provide the service they sold me.
All I get is "can you browse web pages?, then we are providing you with a broadband service. This despite the fact that the package I subscribed to was there max service which is for online gaming.
Please Please, anyone thinking of going with them, DON'T.
Roll on September 2007, when I can tell them to stuff it and go with BT broadband.

Say one wanted to place freeware (definately not NES/SNES roms! *COUGH*) games upon a DS/GBA cartridge to play them on their DS, how would one go about that?
And what's all this stuff about "flashing" your DS and upgrading the firmware? I don't understand what that means or why it would ever be necessarry.
And what is an SD reader?
Thanks.
