Im not sure, but this song line might be appropriate:
'Its something unpredictable, but in the end its right'

Its only fate, and nobody can stop it. Not even the great Mr Potato Head!

Oh yeah, that line is from 'Time of Your Life'. The most recent version of the song done by Green Day. They played that @ my brother's Grad. hehe. It's a very fitting song. Other lines from it are..

"Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the wrists; directs you where to go.."

and

"It's not a question but a lesson learned in time"

Good song.

Double Edge Wrote:The only purpose grievance has is to express emotions that simple words or gestures cannot completely fulfill. People cry to express their deepest sorrows & regrets, or their most joyous accomplishments or happiness. Different people deal with loss in different ways: some cry until they can no longer anymore, some pretend that they are okay and bottle up their feelings, and some truly just live with their loss and move on. Because that's ultimately what must happen: no matter the loss, you must move on.

"Time Travels,
People Move,
Like a River's Flow,
It Never Ends."
~Sheik, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

That quote sprang into my mind and..it's true. Time rolls ever onward, and we must go with it. The most important thing you can do for someone you have lost, is to remember. If he or she is always held fast in your heart, that's the strongest bond that exists; and you will always be united.
^^ Great words, you should be a philosopher.

Awwwww man! I feel horrible for all you guys, but Jay, it truly wasn't your fault! Many people, friends, pets, everything, that we know and love will go one day. And we have to learn to except that. Though we are all entitled to feeling bad sometimes, we can't let it eat away at us too much. For example one of my neghbors lost his mom that he was very close with! And he got upset so much, that he was throwing up left and right and eventully died from depression. I didn't know him to well but I can in a way relate to all of you guys. So far I haven't lost and friend or family member, just pets. Though I lost a lot of pets I'm very close with, and I truly hate to say it but, losing a family member or friend is extrmely hard! Harder then losing a pet. Though....losing pets are hard too. Last month, we had to put down my 18 year old dog that really hasn't been doing good. And in dog years thats like, 100 something. Now Jay, and all you other people that has lost people you love and care about, whether or not it was a friend, family member, or anybody else like that, you have the upmost greatest right to cry your frickin eyes out! Just don't cry so hard you die of depression, which you'd have to want and work hard on. Everyone deserves a good cry every now and then. Even if its about something that happened a long time ago. I lost my pet rat a week after my birthday, and a week before my dog was put down, but yet, still every now and then I feel sorry and upset. Sometimes I even turn over in bed at night and silently weep. And one more thing. Jay, what happened to you was truly horrible, and I can imagen the hell your in right now. Espesically for your age. (And mine!) But sometimes, think, what would your friend want? I think he would want you to live a great successful life. Man, no matter what happens, he'll always be with you. Always. He will be the voice that tells you to forget the horrible things people tell you. The one person you cant see, but feel, thats always there to comfert you when theres nobody else to. The one that will always be with you, and one day, you will be with him in every way once again. He'll always be with you. Supporting you, helping you, watching over you. Making sure nothing happens to you. Man, when I heard what happened to you, I felt like takin a good long cry too. What happened was horrible, but your friend, will ALWAYS, no matter what happens, will be your greatest friend. And until your with him again, he'll contact you and help you in every way he can. And till' your with him, think about the ones you love. They're there too, to comfert you, in fact, how's about now you run on over to your mom or dad and throw your arms around em. Take a good long hung and cry in there arms.
Man I feel bad for you. But I swear, your friend will always be with you. And one day you'll be with him up in heaven too.....I promise.

Ah. A very good point. Indeed, what would your friend want? Think - if he wanted you to live, as Todd said, a successful, great life, then do it. If you ask me, I doubt he would want you to grieve for him at all. But that's how these things work, the human process of grievance. It matters not whether you want to cry or not, you do it anyway.

Feel better man, and don't forget the whole board is behind you here. Wink

I agree with that statement thrice.
