You'll have to tell me what it's like, Link has been one of those "Hm, maybe when it's in a sale..." games since launch.

The thing with these Pokémon spin-off games is that there's so many I tend to pass them by, and only when they're unavailable do I think "Hey... Pokémon Pinball was actually really good!"

I will definately read up on the mon' differences in Diamond and Pearl before I get either! I need all my favourite pokemon!

I hope they make more than just pokemon encounter differences between the two versions this time...

I like how they've revolutionised the battle system. Attacks that actually physically hit (Thunder Punch etc) are physical, therefore are affected by Atk, not Special Atk..
Etc.

It looks very cool.

I always pick the water one because of their handy ability to learn ice attacks and slay the leaf pokemon as well as handing the fire pokemon their asses to them Means I need a decent rock/ground type - though.

You might not be so lucky anymore the starting water-type poke'mon is also part flying type.

flying=speed + effrective vs leaf. If it's faster than its would be counterpart and can still learn Ice moves it'll kick the butts of the other startes... One problem though... It- It's a tiny bird thing! Who wants that as their main mon'?
